STRUCTURE MAPS
Largemouth and smallmouth bass, striped bass, walleye, crappie, channel catfish, yellow perch, white perch, bluegill sunfish, carp, rainbow and brown trout. We've seen 3-4ft pike pulled out off the shorelines. Bobbers, & extra large shiners...more to come on that
at a later time...
Our Note: When you aren't getting anything, nothing beats switchin' up bait/tackle and swinging at some Catfish or Carp! There are huge
catfish out past the fishing shop/boat ramp. Go deep and drop some chicken livers. For carp, of course get out the doughballs and/or corn. Treble hooked, bottom rigged, and your headed for some fighting.
Find a channel or cove and you'll most likely see those submarine-sized carp sliding around. They won't normally bite your bait. Still, pitch it
out near the feeding area and just let the rod stay for a bit.
Be prepared to see it bend and have a hand ready to grab it. | |
